The most refreshing aspect of ‘so go wavesailin’  is that it is NOT just a ‘look how clever we are’ program. Sure there’s some wild action but all the teaching and demonstrations take place in moderate winds and small waves on standard free-ride  kit to show you what’s really possible. These are the sections.

• The Gear. Tuning your standard board and rig for the waves.
• The skills. On flat water, brushing up on all those skills, early planing, tacking gybing, quick waterstarting, that are essential to your survival in the surf.
• Wind and Waves. Understanding the surf lingo, knowing how wind and waves work and how to spot and deal with the hidden dangers such as reefs, rips and currents. 
• In and Out.  How to handle the shorebreak, bust through white water and get back in one piece.
• Jumping. The basics of take-off, flight and landing minutely explained.
• Riding. Bottom and top turns both up and down wind.
