ABOUT THE PLACE
Not much to be said about Dahab that hasn't already been said.
It's become something of a Mecca for European windsurfers.
Why? It has a spectacular wind record; 3 amazing sailing areas to cater for all standards, the favourite of which are the super safe lagoon and the 'Speedy' - an area of windy flat water that has seen more first time carve gybes than anywhere else in the world.
On top of that the place has developed its own beach vibe. Some Red Sea venues are just a hotel in the desert, where there is nothing esle to do; but Dahab throbs gently - not in an drunken 'ere we go ere we go' way, but there's a selection of delightful bars and restaurants along the beach; and of course there's the old hippy hang-out of Maspat 5 minutes away for a bit of a night out.

ABOUT the COURSE
It's essentially a general skills course which mean the sole aim is to make you a better windsurfer and work through your own personal agenda, whether that is to slip more smoothly into the straps and onto the plane, crack the carve gybe, improve the carve gybe, use a smaller board, tack a smaller board, learn to jump or dip your toes in the wild waters of modern freestyle.

The day is a mix of a little on beach theory, loads of water sessions with instant feedback and some one to one free sailing with me (only if you want!)
The day is topped off by perhaps the best session of all, the video playback and analysis in the beach bar.

ABOUT NEILSON
In my mind Neilosn are the most professional watersports centre out there. The staf are uber friendly; the kit is great and the whole atmospherewonderfully welcoming. Their mantra "relax as hard a you like, is spot on." They are there for you when you need them but don't hassle you!
For the PH clinic we get our own permanent helper with rescue boat who can not help coach but also fetch and carry new sails and boards to wherever we are sailing.
